Hey everyone. This past weekend I directed a music video, and we have only 10 days in post so we can meet the deadline for a major local festival.
My question is, does the length of music video majorly effect the chance of getting in? This video in particular has two scenes that will be shown without music, and there is enough room to edit a solid video of 6-7 minutes in length. My fear is that festivals would look at that and say "well we can pick this video, or we can show two shorter ones".
We would be able to get the video to under 5 minutes if needed, but it will lose some really great shots.
What say ye?
