...render a clip interlaced? if so, should i be doing this or not?
sorry for being a noob, i'm still learning
 
Not quite understanding your question. Are you referring to graphics or footage? What tyoe of format are you working with?
 
footage that i did a time remap with, sorry for not stating that in the first place.
basically what happens is when I import the clip, its interlaced, but when i render it, it comes out deinterlaced.
 
When you render, make sure you check that you're rendering lower field first, assuming it's DV footage. I think if you select Best settings, it defaults to no fields, or progressive. In the render Queue, under render settings, select custom, then make your adjustments.
