Is there a way to fix the enclosed clip?

Well, if you have some wild sound of the bg's, all is not lost. The good thing is the bg's are natural, and you can hear the dialogue over it pretty well. If you do not have some wild sound of the traffic, then you will need to see if you can get a sound editor to try and throw some in for you. It's not beyond all hope, but if you don't have any wild sound, it's going to be hard to salvage.

Thanks for the reply dave, I believe we do have wild sound. The only problem that I forgot to mention that it's a Dogme 95 film so I wonder if I should get fix and break the rule or just go with it. Like you said the dialogue sounds pretty decent over the noise.

I'd just knock down the volume of that (trash) truck/bus between the two rings where it peaks. I don't know if that breaks the Dogme 95 rules or not. It's not THAT bad. If we saw the truck or a light change at a window, that would be even better. I get a lot of bus noises. Sometimes it fits in the scene, other times not.

I say NO to re-shoot, but only you can tell how it fits in.

IMHO, Chris
