Is there a video standards forum somewhere that decides on universal standards for cams?
If there is I wish someone would change the mounting plate configuration for tripods.
There must be a better way to mount a plate to a cam than a screw and knub thing.
At some point every cam especially on monopods gets loose and needs to be re-tightened.
A friend of mine actually cracked the bottom of his DVX100 trying to tighten the screw to tight.
