is there a sticky for tripod info?

[slimchrisp]

i've done a little searching, but haven't found one. i'm looking for something like the Side-by-side shotgun shootout (w/samples from multiple mics) thread by admiral3. i'm grabbing bits of info from different posts, but have not found a good "tripod shootout" thread.

thanks for the help.

There is no sticky, but tons of good threads on tripods. There is a pretty big tripod faq in the hardware section you might check out.
