Is There a Proper Successor to the HMC 150?

I think a bride would notice god-awful flash banding more than she would notice the slightly less sharp, slightly noisier image off the HMC-150, and would appreciate the sharpness of focus as well.

Love my 150!

That's what I think as well but I guess that's up to the brides. I use HMC150s for the bulk of my angles but I do mix in some CMOS cameras as well so somethimes flash band footage makes it to the final cut. No complaints yet.
I am curious as to how well the PX270 handles flash banding with it's "improved" flash band compensation option.
The reception is when the flashes are going off like machine guns. Compound that with the fact that receptions are sooooooo dark and the flashes are even more noticeable (like flash bombs). Add to that two photographers and RATATATATATATAT! It's like a light UZI or strobe. :)

99% of my brides still prefer DVDs so the not as sharp 150 is still hi res enough
