Is there a free to use commercially 3D Earth?

Or possibly something pretty cheap? Gonna do a zoom out over the globe effect and am in need of Earth model, hopefully free to use commercially (low budget). Thinking I will probably import into AE with Video Copilot Element.

Anyone got any ideas? Thanks as always.

Yeah use the video copilot tutorial. I used it for project not too long ago...it's actually quite simple with real good results...

You can't use the images from the earth zoom tutorial because they are owned by Google. NASA has a version of Google Earth that you can use the images from. If you're just wanting the globe, Andrew released an earth model a few months back for use in Element 3D.

Awesome. Gonna look this up, thanks a bunch, also @Zaza and Mike.

Totally. I've used NASA stuff before. They even have some free 3d files :). And the space images are large. Great for animating.

Those free NASA files cost billions of dollars. And we paid for them! So go get them and use 'em, you helped pay for them. LOL!
