Is there a 35mm still lens to PL adapter?

Does anyone know of an adapter to use 35mm still lenses on cameras with PL mount?
I've seen still lenses that have been converted to PL mount, so an adapter which you can clip on 35mm lenses shouldn't be that far fetched, right?

You might want to compare the flange focal distance between PL lenses and say ... Canon or Nikon etc.. there are a couple of other physical plane issues to deal with.

Flange focal for PL mount is 52.00mm - Canon EF is 42.00mm
Most likely the adapter wont fit mechanically into 10mm, and allow room for both the Baynet, and the Cannot EF mounts. Only cases where viable adapters can be machined if they act like a step down/step up ring for filters.

Second thing to look for is diameter of the mount and protruding elements from the back past the mount into the camera body, which can also cause problems.

If most people converting lenses into PL modify and machine parts of the SLR lenses, that means 10mm is not enough clearance and it needs to sit deeper into the lens lke 17mm etc...

I see, guess that's the reason why there are virtually no converted lenses out there. I'm just going through all options for my next camera setup and I guess this way is out of the question.
