Is ther a hardrive that can be powered from laptop?

I was wanting to get an external for my Macbook Pro that could run off the battery of the laptop to be TRULY mobile. What's the point of having a laptop if you have to plug in the hardrive that you edit your footage from?

Let me know.

And yes, I obviously know that the hardrive would be sucking a lot of the power from the battery, so editing time on the go would be limited.
