Is the Letus EX1 achromat optimization kit same as the HVX?

I'm buying a used Letus Extreme for my HPX170, however it's coming with the EX1 optimization kit. Is the achromat the same but the ring size isn't? Am I going to have to buy the HVX optimization kit? I've heard they are the same kit but am just curious about how it all works. Cheers.

EDIT: It appears the backfocus of the lense is pre-set to the camera before being shipped to the customer, so the backfocus is going to be set to the EX1 and not the HPX170. This is gonna be a pain.

I believe it is but I'm not sure. If it is I wish they would just call it the HVX/EX optimization kit because this question comes up repeatedly.
