Is the BT-LH80W a battery eater?

I notice the BT-LH80W's power consumption is 1.5A. ...and other monitors like Nebtek and Marshall are only consuming 800mA or .8A ...that's almost fifty percent lower than the panny!

Can I really get twice the run time using a different monitor such as the Nebtek versus the BT-LH80W?

What's your real world experience using this monitor off batteries? I plan on using an anton bauer power tap to 4pin xlr to the BT-LH80W if it matters... (I'm hoping I don't need an arsenal just for one monitor.)

Thanks,
Lonnie

I just measured, it in fact uses 1.2A@12V, which is a little less than published. It looks like Panasonic is being conservative in their specs.

Or 14.4 if they are measured :) As an engineer and "battery guy" - your specifics are much appreciated, Alex...
