Is my motherboard toast?

Hello,

I have a Gateway GT5628, Intel Core 2 Quad (http://support.gateway.com/s/PC/R/1014737R/1014737Rsp3.shtml)
4GB RAM
Windows Vista 32bit

I've upgraded the power supply to 500w and the video card to:
HIS Radeon x1950Pro 512mb Graphics Card

Everything has been working fine, but I turned it on one day and the monitors did not respond. I tested the monitors and they work fine on another computer. I opened my computer up and all fans are spinning, HD is running, graphics card is running, motherboard is powered. I figured it was the graphics card that went bad, but I tested out another and that doesn't work either. I then tried plugging a monitor into my on board connection and still nothing.

Is the problem most likely my motherboard?

Thanks!

I do alot of computer repairs. I can tell you sometimes it can be the power supply. It might work for awhile but then it doesint. Also I think you should get 1000w not 500w. Now try this as well. Try to take out your cpu. Clean it up. And put it back in. See if that works. If you got nothing try to uplug ur hdd and ur dvd roms and etc and see if it boots up. Then if nothing try removing the battery on the motherboard and put it back in. If all those methods fail then it is ur motherboard.

Thanks for your advice!!! You saved me quite a bit of cash :) Turns out some of my RAM had become unseated and that solved everything. Thanks again!
