Is MacBook Pro a Lemon?

That's how the people at Gizmodo.com put it:

"Is there something rotten in Cupertino? After hearing rumblings of problems with MacBook Pros, now David Ciccone of Mobility Today tells us about his nightmarish series of issues with the MacBook Pro he bought back in March of this year."

ive never had a problem with mine, have had it since march. its even been discontinued after like 2 months. i have a 2.0ghz 15inch with 256mb video ram here. Use it everyday atleast 12 hours a day. went almost a month without restart and not a crash yet.

The only thing that I have heard about is the batter recall, similar to that of the Dell battery recall, although I'm not a big mac user so couldn't tell you.

Not surprising. Mac isn't some benevolant mother that cares deeply about their customers. They're a HUGE company that cares ONLY about their stockholders.

If you don't believe me, wait till you have a problem with your Mac and have to deal with the company. You'll learn quick.

I'm buying an intel tower this week. Ain't that a kicker. They screw me once and I still go back to them.

Whose stupider, them or me?

Too bad PC still...umm...they just don't work like I think.

made one of my for one of my passwords for one of my usernames on my mac india for the 5 hrs 1 spent on the phone listening to someone half way around the world read from a script. realized that from that memorable experience, I'd never forget that password. having said that, mac still rules.
