Is Kessler a quick company to respond?

hi everyone,

im wondering if the Kessler (crane/dolly) company is a company that is quick to respond to phone calls and or email inquiries? anyone care to share their experiences?

are they a smaller company without a lot of staff?

im trying to order something from them (short notice) for a music video that i have next week. have called a few times and get a machine. they give a cell number to call which i did and also sent an email. havent heard back yet but it was just today that i have tried.

Pocket Dolly with the Hercules 2.0 head is looking pretty good to me.

i have gotten the impression over the years of reading that they are a very good company with a solid reputaion. their products look extremely well built and at a fair price.

if one was to try to order quickly from Red Rock then we know the answer...so, what about Kessler?

has anyone every got a quick order in and delivered in a few days?

plus, anything bad that i should know about them?

I've dealt with Eric for several years. Very professional and accessible.

I purchased his 12' crane, Hercules head to name a few. His products are
very well constructed and have served me well. I can use my 12' crane as
it is or shorten it to an 8' or 5' size depending on the venue.

If he hasn't responded yet, he's possibly on the road or out of town on business.
I'd call him again. He's even returns calls on weekends.

As far as product delivery, if it's in stock he can overnight it to you. It'll just cost
you a bit more.

I too have had nothing but great service from Kessler. I've talked to Eric many times, called and he would call or email right back a.s.a.p. if not available.

I'm also very pleased with their products and own a lot of Kessler stuff....soon to be more once he releases the new Pocket Jib that's due any day now!
 
well that was quick! chris @ kessler emailed me with info and offered for me to call him today (saturday). very nice guy and helpful. he will be building a new batch of them on monday and tuesday for orders already placed and pretty much promised than he would ship one out by tuesday for me. i will have it ups 2 day ground by thursday.

pricing is great and all made in america...nothing wrong with that.

thanks for the info in this thread. wasnt expecting to be able to do any business on the weekend.
