I just got a 302 for my ENG running gunning reason,
Almost died on a documentary with my 442 with 4 lectro wireless sets and boom
powered by an another V lock battery.

Trying to find a good sound bag to put 302, along with at least two wireless sets,
a V lock battery, a Zoom H4N

went to buy Porta Brace AO-1X , because it's big and also fits 302 nicely, but out of stock, have to wait for 1 month.

SO... looking at other brands of sound bags.... Any suggestions ? Petrol ...Kata,

Is Kata Koala 1 for 302?

It looks good though

any other bags which is big and tough for this small mixer

Thanks in advance

I ordered a Kata Koala-4 mixer bag from B&h initially. Fits the 302 beautifully but that's about it (doesnt have much room for a baggable recorder.) Made the switch to the Petrol PS 607 Mixer Bag since it has room for wireless units and a baggable recorder. I've used the Porta Brace too and liked it also. Good luck!

Good choice. That gives you room to grow or room for more equipment later. I made the wrong choice of getting a bag desinged for my mixer and that limited me to just enough room for my mixer, bds and lavs. No room for my newly acquired mixpre, hd-p2, H4n, you get the picture.
