Is it worth it getting an apple certification for FCP7?

I have the Apple Pro Training Series book FCP7 and completed its training course. I took the certification test at an apple center and failed the first time and today I retook it after rereading the book and failed it by 10%(need an 80%).

Is it even worth it to have this certification? Do employers in the movie community look for certs like these or more for previous projects and experience? Is it just a cashcow for apple and is more for teaching the program to people? Thanks guys, I'm rethinking about taking it again this weekend, let me know what you think!

I have considered looking into this... i'd also be curious as to whether it would be 'worth it'.
Would you recommend the training series book S7CK just to learn the software? I'm am pretty much self taught so it would be good to get some proper guidance in a few areas.

I recommend the books, the fcp7 book is very well worth it and I think the next book I'm going to purchase will be the motion 4. I guess it also depends on your skill in whatever field, but I had a little experience with after effects and adobe premiere but now I feel like I can handle everything in fcp after reading the book and doing the training with it.

Nope..employers don't really care if you are certified. Just that you know the application. They might take it into consideration if you are going for an ASSISTANT EDITOR job, but EDITOR? No. They want your reel and to know that you know the application...that's it.
