Is it possible?

Is it possible to burn an HD video to a SD DVD? I render my HD videos to WMV9. Any ideas, or do I need to do something else? I have Instant HD, and I play all of it on my laptop, but I want to take it elsewhere....Hence the DVD question. Any help is appreciated.

Directly not possible. SD DVD video resolution is 720x480, HD is much higher and ordinary DVD player can't read this.
Your option is transcode HD WMV to SD's MPEG-2 with proper video resolution/bitrate and audio codec. Then use DVD authorizing program to make DVD if needed.
Number of DVD players can read MPEG-2 video directly, without authorizing first.
There are some DVD players that can read HD video from DVD disc (they usually have HDMI output for this), but WMV...don't know.
