is it possible to install premiere pro cs4 onto the hard drive?

ok i got 2 questions

1, can i install premiere pro cs4 on to my built in hard drive to save space?

also

2, could i install premiere pro cs4 onto my portable hard drive as well so when i'm at my dad's house i'm able to use the program at his place without having to install it onto his computer as well
 
1. Yeah. Not sure what else you'd expect to use.

2. Not exactly. In order for it to be installed it has to be installed from the computer it'll be used on, but it can be installed on an external drive. To the best of my knowledge Adobe only wants you installing on one computer, so your license activation wouldn't work a second time. I could be wrong, I've heard their license includes two computers sometimes but I've never needed to try it.

Not only that, you'd also have heaps of registry and .dll issues. It would be quite unlikely to work properly.
 
is it worth it installing it onto the hard drive? I want to keep my computer at top speed you see as my camera burns the memory.
 
You want to have the program on your system drive (C) and your footage on a different drive (in your case D) for best performance.
