Is it possible to create stop-motion films in Adobe Premiere Elements 8?

Go into Edit->Preference->General and look for the Still Image option. Change the duration of each still to 1 frame. Then name the stills 1,2,3,4...etc depending on the order and drag them all into the timeline and there you go.

Good afternoon to you all. I took a large amount of still photos, intending to make a stop-motion out of them. Then, of course, I couldn't figure out how to put them together at the right speed. Should I use the "time stretch" tool, or is there some kind of special stop-motion mode? For that matter, is it even possible to make that kind of thing in PE8?

Typically I have used Quicktime Pro (the 29.99 upgrade to Quicktime currently only QT 7 has a 'pro' option... ) to create a movie of still images that have ascending sequence numbers. This typically is how still cameras number the images, so the resulting movie correct in 'time' sequencing.

I checked, and Premiere Elements seems to have some form of 'interpret footage', which is how one would set the timing for a sequence of stills in After Effects. I also noticed that PE also has an import still sequence option as well.

I've been meaning to get PE and do a few local seminars to match the Wife's seminars on Photoshop Elements, for those people who want to go beyond the 'movie maker' widgets that come with the various operating systems.
