Is it ok to use a public figures name in your film???

We finished a full feature and wanted to know is it ok if you say a line using a public figures name or do you need some kinda permission just to say it?

example

Your dad thinks he's T.D. Jakes or something
 
Of course it OK to say a public figure's name. It's free speech. You just cannot defame that person or say things about them that are untrue.
