Is it just me, or are you guys getting tired of seeing timelaps videos to.

Timelapse tutorials are getting a bit useless. Some used to be fine but now some of these 'watch-me-work' timelapses which are called tutorials are for the most part completely useless because they skip over too much information. It's almost become a show-off in some cases.
I think a speed up of around %100 is fine, double speed, but these 1 frame every 1 or 2 seconds things are basically useless.

Timelapse vids of nature/weather I never get tired of. If it's done without a purpose, as in without purposes of observation or education, then yeah, it seems pointless sometimes.

good post! I agree, there's a tutorial for everything these days. Some are helpful, but most are useless.

I like time-lapsed, if done well. some of the "miniature" stuff is still pretty cool. but, time-lapsed is kind of a hybrid. it's not video....or is it? it's still photo's...or is it.
but, if i see one more camera test of tree's blowing in the wind, blood is going to shoot out of my eyeballs!!!

Now tutorials, showing how to make a slow motion clip, using footage from a video game.........um, yea ;)

How bout a tutorial of a skater in a video game, filmed with a fisheye, time-lapsed, then sped up, then slowed down using twixtor.......and, to top it off, color graded with magic bullet looks!!!!!
