I talked to a guy there named brandon and he offered me a "pro aim kit-20(c)" shipped for 899.00 thats about 50 cheaper than "the cine city".

Brand told me that if i order sometime tonight like in the next couple of hours he can guarantee me that it will arrive on the EAST coast on Friday morning. How legit are they? Am i better off purchasing with the store in india?

Do a Google search for "Indie Film Depot" and "scam". Put "Indie Film Depot" in quotes. This usually brings up info if people are slimy or shady. I didn't find anything, but as a rule of thumb you may also want to check out eBay (if you haven't already). You can find many comparable things for less there (because a lot of things are expensive because of the name) so you may want to check into that.

on amazon they have 5 reviews 100% positive. but i ordered a pro aim kit that was 939 and he said he would offer 2 day shipping on it. He said i had to pay him by 11pm PST on sunday he would ship monday.

Well paypal had a "under review" for my payment and didnt release it until 11pm monday night, and he wouldnt NOT ship until it cleared. He emailed me and said it clear around midnight on tuesday. All day yesterday i never received a tracking number, then finally this afternoon he said he was doing and indie short film and for 2 days was working 18 hr days. He said he would go back to the office and get my tracking number shortly.

That was 4 hrs ago and still nothing! i need this for a 2k shoot on friday afternoon. If he ****s me there will be hell to pay!
 
i was going to pruchase from "the cine city" but there is no way it would have arrived on time as they are in india, so it would have taken 10 days. where as this company said they had them in stock and its in LA so that should be 48 hrs.
