Is FS killing my raid?

Every time I connect and disconnect (not the cable - I mean via the menue) the FS to my computer my raid goes "brrrrrrrt" (strange noise).

The raid got totaly lost 2 times (thou I had it restored) and that makes me worry.

Any ideas?

No idea, but do you correctly remove the hardware via windows or mac first before pulling the plug?
