Is FCP an 8 bit or 10 bit Color System.

[ripupthehwy]

Edius is 8 bit,
Avid is 10 bit,
What is FCP?

[PerroneFord]

10 bit. And their native codec, ProRes, is 10bit also.

Kind of depends on what you mean. It's capable of rendering to 10-bit color sure- depending on which codec you choose.

Depends on what graphics card you have in your MAC.
