Is EXPOSUREROOM still a good hosting option?

I use to upload to 2 sites, Vimeo and Exposureroom as there was a time that exposureroom looked pro due to its layout and dark background.

Lately I've have noticed that no news or updates have been made, I have flagged on a couple of occasions several posting of pornographic material.
and also the WHATS PLAYING page seemed stuck, in short I get this feeling that it isn't being managed or monitored by its owners anymore.


Anyone of you get the same feeling?
 
I use vzaar now. Vimeo re-encodes the video file into a flash movie. That means your colors get distorted, you loose sharpness and overall you post an inferior version of your video. Mind you though, you can only notice these things with the lower end HD cameras, and SD. I've got a lot of really good SD material, so vzaar was the only option for me.

Not "Totally" but it seems the developers/owners have abandoned it. Some of my Videos are now offline, my profile itself lost its image/photos, and several features have lost their functionality like SEARCH function won't work, etc.

I use to communicate with 2 persons involved with running it, Shiv Kumar and Becky Miller, now they haven't replied and last night an email to Shiv (whom I believed owns the site) bounced back.

A lot of us embeded the videos hosted on their site to our own sites and to other sites as well, the least they could have done was give us a warning of some sort. I'm glad that recently I have been redundant in my embeds and also linked to Vimeo.



edit__ oops I spoke too soon. Looks like IT IS TOTALLY GONE NOW. its 4:49 PM Jul 1 here. Added the time mark to see if it still is up somewhere.

Wished I'd read this thread originally. Just got an email from someone, saying a link is gone and sure enough, no response from XR. Shame, was a good service while it lasted. RIP Exposureroom.
