Is a gimble right for me?

Long time lurker. Wondering on this? I only shoot straight up concerts. No slow motion etc. Here are examples. I'm happy with my shoulder rigs but wondering if using one of these would improve handheld shooting on the stage lip? I have 4 GH3's, 2 GH4's and a Sony A7. Thanks for any input!

And I was looking at 1 of these 2.

If you continue to stand and shoot from static positions, it's likely not right for you. The gimbal would eliminate more jitters, but I think a little rough camera operating is nice and appropriate, too.

Gimbals are the gold standard at concerts for capturing all kinds of creative shots. If you move with your feet, it would never hurt to add some of these kind of shots to your edits (even flipping the camera into 60p once and a while and capturing some slow-motion like maybe the artist walking down a hallway at the venue before the show, etc).

how much can you move around when shooting at the stage lip? if you can move around, I think a gimbal could do good things. If not, then I wonder if you wouldn't be better served by a monopod or tripod

thanks for joining the conversation! re: models, I have a dji ronin-s and a zhiyun weebill-s. the ronin-s is older and heavier-duty than the rsc 2 and the weebill-s is older and the same line as the weebill 2. I get the distinct impression that the smoothness and fundamentals of gimbals have not improved from one generation to the next, and that the primary changes are features and design/operation
