I was shooting with a Sony PDW530 XDCAM w/24P board today and had to set the camera to shoot in "24P" for a broadcast show. The show edits on Avids and all footage needs to be shot "drop frame." This is the first time I noticed that there was a "24P" and a "24PsF" (24-frame progressive, segmented frame) mode. Is Sony's 24PsF mode simply their nomenclature for "24P Advanced?"
