Irudis Tonalizer Lite for free

It's free, yes. It does some of the work that we used to use the FCP7 2-way colour corrector for pushing or pulling the mids.

But it doesn't contain the main 'worth paying for' tools: Adaption, Highlight rescue, Detail Sharpener and Protect Skin Tones. It's these controls that make Tonalizer a 'subtle knife' (Philip Pullman reference).

By all means download and enjoy the lite version. Really urge you to check out the full-on demo.

Speaking as an actual fan, not being paid for this, even if my review has cropped up on their site. :-)
 
I too have the full version. And I would agree with the "subtle knife" description. It's a pretty well thought out plugin. If they managed to throw a curve tool or eye dropper it would really make it stand out. But it is at least worth trying out guys.

We would like this too but the UI interaction of FCPX and the plugins is quite limited (lets call it simplistic).
