Iron Man 3 -- directed and co-written by Shane Black

Very disappointed. To me the first 2/3 of the movie didn't really gel and the end wasn't much better. I enjoyed Iron Man 2 a lot more than this.

Can I say that I saw a bootleg version of this in 2D at a friends place? If not then my opinion is what it is.

I really enjoyed it. I thought it was the best of the series so far. Entertaining wise. Nothing more.
 
I thought it was a mixed bag. The first half had a lot of awkward moments with jarring tonal shifts. I felt it needed the confident hand of a more experienced director. The second half was better, good enough that I'd rate it over Iron Man 2, but not the first.

While I appreciated the twist with The Mandarin on a storytelling level, it was kind of a waste of Ben Kingsley. He's a great actor and made that villain so compelling and believably scary, that to have him be a hoax felt like a let down.
