Just wanted to give a long overdue thumbs up to this company for fine innovation and great service.

I bought I think, my 5th? GS microphone for my arsenal of iriver devices. You may say, not a professional device (iriver), but it has worked well for me. The microphone that Darren (GS owner) sells is great. I've compared recordings with an iriver + GS mic system plus a Marantz+sony ecm??? system and they come close to quality..unbelievable as the price points are hundreds of dollars different. I use both to record interviews, voices, and musicians for wedding events. I could probably throw away a bunch of Radio Shack lav mics and some prosumer sonys now.

I think you can buy something to read the levels on an iriver, but I haven't used it. Just muliple mics and experience setting recording levels.

-great sensitivity
-no battery you have to keep checking on
-high quality materials
-fast, reliable, efficient service
