Hey Folks:
At cheapfilmmaking .com we talk a lot about how to get the most out of a low- or micro-budget film. Obviously that's just as (if not more) important on the distribution end as it is for production. I've been looking at the growth of Netflix, Hulu, et. al., as I'm sure you have. What I'm struck by however, is the smaller enterprises that are starting up. They remind me of the early cable channels in their infancy. Striking deals with them is easier, and I'm going to find out if it can be profitable. Anybody else having any experiences (good or bad) with these new IPTV startups? (Here's an example of the type of company I'm talking about, btw; they just purchased a traditional cable network to become one of their assets.)
