ipod with dead pixle

ahhhh i just got a brand new ipod 5g 60gb video and it has a green stuck or dead pixel in the upper left area of the screen, im not in a position where i can return it, but i was just wondering if this would spread(make other pixels bad) because if it doeasnt then ill be fine

And some people say they have "massaged" stuck pixels back to life. I have no idea if that works or not.
