iPod headphones

Just wrap them around your ear...I managed to figure out this method after years of having them.

You don't need new ones, just simply take them, wrap them around the top of your ear, and stick 'em in place.

Whatever you do, don't get those ones that go RIGHT into your ear...Uncomfortable, and probably very bad for your ears, 'specially when listening to your music full blast. :)

There are several questions to be asked before buying in-ear headphones though. What type of music do you usually listen to? how much a day? on a normal or rather high volume?

I'm not sure if you are responding to me or the person who started this thread (last Feb...so he has probably long since made his purchase) but you are right...I'd like to say in-ear headphones are not all created equal. However, I have my doubts as to whether or not you could truly hear the $150-$300 dollars if you spring for high end ones. These really pick up bass well and I the entire time I had my Etymotics...I could crank my ipod on 100% volume without pain. But last night with these, I could not do it...It was painfully loud.

Are the S.C. better? They are not supposed to be. Maybe I got a bad pair of Etymotics? Though I kinda doubt that...thing is, for isolation of sound...Etymotics are superior. They have softer, much more narrower buds that fit much deeper into the ear canal. With no music, they cancel out most everything. So, if you want them for canceling out echo for video work they would be better. The SC do not have that snug of a fit. But as for sound quality for music for when the ipod is turned on I was pretty impressed.

These are the ones I am talking about...
