iPhone/iPod Touch Apps for Production

[Jim_Behl]

I have come across 2 Apps for the iPhone/iPod Touch that are really cool. One is Movie*Slate, a fully functioning smart slate/clapper. There are some limitations, such as no ability to connect directly to the camera, but it is still very useful. The other is ProPrompter a teleprompter application. Combine this with the available hardware and you have a very compact, portable teleprompter solution that will work in most situations.

Nice. Hitchcock is a pretty cool storyboarding app for the iPhone that I've been testing out.

An absolute must have for cinematographers is Pcam.

One of my friends came across this little app from the folks at Movieola. Movieola made a lot of the equipment for the film industry over the years.
