iphone 3.0 available today, umm where ?

Ok so it's June 17th and I'm not seeing any kind of update, version 2.2.1 is the current update.

Anyone ?
 
The speculation based on past experience is that it will be available this morning around 10:00 AM Pacific (California) Time.

Just so this isn't a useless thread I'm going to add this in.

I had problems earlier after updating my computer to the new iTunes 8.2. My computer no longer recognized my iPhone or iPods. So the trick to get you back up and running is

- Repair disk permissions
- Shutdown computer (not restart)
- Shutdown iPhone and reboot
- Turn on Computer
- Then plug iPhone back into computer


For those that are having this problem, hope this helps and can't wait to see all of the new stuff. !!!! Downloading now :)
 
AT&T doesn't even support MMS messages right now. The update is cool but it's not as great as I thought it'd be.
 
Yeah, and I asked an employee at AT&T off hand this morning when MMS support could be expected besides "late summer" here was the conversation:

me: "So do you have any informatio on when that may be incorporated?"

him: "Well...the new iPhone OS comes out today, so that will support MMS."

me: "Right, but in the keynote they mention that AT&T support for it won't be in place till late summer..."

him: "Oh well in that case I have no clue."

Classic. :)
 
Really disappointed in the Internet Tethering for the US. Oh don't worry I'm sure AT&T will make up some ridiculous fee, and the same for MMS.

I'm happy that we got it for free and I understand how hard and expensive software developing can be, but was really wanting this feature. Oh well
