Invoicing and Quoting Examples

Hi,

For the past year I have been doing invoices free hand in Word.

As larger clients are asking me for video services, I think it's time that I begin to use a more professional looking template.

I downloaded Quickbooks however, the pre-made invoice section is based around selling goods.

Does anyone mind sharing with me a copy of their invoice template so that I can better formulate my own?

Thanks

I just use a program called ExpressInvoice.

Got it for free. Looks professional and works enough....Search around the web for other free invoicing programs.

Quickbooks, though a defacto standard is pretty lousy software IMO. It is limiting to the extent that they try to get you to buy there forms, checks and services from them (Intuit) so the app is limiting at times.

Regardless of what software you use, it is better to use an integrated bookeeping package and begin keeping real books. It isn't difficult to learn, you will understand your business better, and your accountant will love you long time.

Quickbooks will do this, but my preference is MYOB (Mind Your Own Business) This was originally published for Mac, but is now a switch hitter.
