Financial advice...

If you had purchased $1000.00 of Nortel stock one year ago, it would now be worth $49.00.

With Enron, you would have $16.50 left of the original $1,000.00.

With Worldcom, you would have less than $5.00 left.

But, if you had purchased $1,000.00 worth of Budweiser (the beer, not the stock) one year ago, drank all the beer, then turned in the cans for the aluminum recycling price, you would have $214.00.

Based on the above, my current investment advice is to drink heavily and recycle.

I knew I was right all along ;D

Re: Investment help

Corporate fraud should be punished as ROBBERY since they are STEALING from people. Greedy A-holes.

Re: Investment help

That sucks, but i'm on a lucky streak, two months ago I bought sirius stock then howard stern announced he's going to sirius in two years! needless to say its almost doubled!

Re: Investment help

But if you bought $1,000 in Anheuser-Busch stock 1 year ago you'd be in pretty decent shape. Beer is a solid business for obvious reasons. I highly recommend A-B stock (and it's not just because I work for them :) )
