inverting an image

This is my first post. I hope this isn't a stupid question... I have attempted to look through these forums for an answer to this question: In your diy adapter, could you use a mirror and prism from a broken SLR camera to flip your image? How would you rig that?

Hi Pharpsied,

You can try it if you have a broken slr camera to spare for the prism and mirror. But you will find that the image seen through the viewfinder will be too small for capture by your camcorder. People here are using either all mirror setup or a mix of larger prism and mirror setup. Search the forum on this topic. You will find lots of it. Good luck.
