Hey there. My name's Dim. Well, obviously that's not me real name, but seeing as I hate the name Adam pretty much everyone calls me Dim. And by everyone, I mean everyone who I can convince that Dim is NOT a stupid name!
I am currently 14 (almost 15) and have been attempting to make films since Spring 2005.
My interests include video games (Final Fantasy, Legend of Zelda, Pokémon - pretty much everything. Check out my now dead blog on Destructoid for a better introduction to myself: http://www.destructoid.com/blogs/DimXD2077/dim-s-introduction-and-set-up-144747.phtml), manga and anime (Death Note, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Haruhi Suzumiya and loads more), music (Panic! At the Disco, Fall Out Boy, My Chemical Romance, Paramore, Taking Back Sunday, Brand New etc.) and of course, film and television.
I'm really trying to stop this post from becoming a list of things I like, so I'll try and keep this as brief as possible (there are a lot more influences I would like to add, but honestly can't name them all on the top of my head). I love independent film and Kevin Smith is possibly my biggest inspiration (probably not the best inspiration to have, but it's something about his films that captured me). To be honest though, at this time in my life, I am currently a lot more interested in television. Joss Whedon is my idol - I LOVE Buffy and Angel and Firefly is great! Have yet to see Dollhouse - I know season one's reception was less than stellar, but I hear season two is apparently much better. Huge fan of Doctor Who and am currently watching (and really enjoying) both Dawson's Creek and Veronica Mars.
So, I make films. Not particularly good films, but films none the less. Just looking at a few posts here, I can tell that I am way out of depth - the quality of the productions people here are making are far beyond my own. But I came here to get feedback - on both my current films and ideas for new ones.

My two most recent films are "Rebound" and "Empty Love" - and I suggest you watch them in that order, as I'm trying to do the whole "universe" thing where events and characters are mentioned throughout different films, tying the films loosely together. Both films are based loosely on my own life experiences, and I think Rebound is the superior film as Empty Love was rather rushed. I would say the style of the films are like Kevin Smith films mixed with the British teen comedy-drama Skins. They are both comedy-dramas with romantic undertones. If you do watch them, please don't be too harsh - both were a struggle to make and I had to change some things at the last minute when people didn't turn up to filming. Some shots were used due to time constraints as I did not have time to film as many shots as I wanted to. Lighting is poor in places and some of the shots are slightly off due to me having to direct the camera while preforming in front of it too. I'm just making excuses...
I'm currently working on my third film is this "romantic comedy-drama" trilogy called "Infatuation" that will be due out next week. I also have a rather detailed plan for a six episode web-series named "Your Own Disaster" that will be a murder mystery. Hopefully today I will finish re-vamping the YouTube channel and Facebook page and start the blog on Blogger.
Feedback would be nice, but don't be too harsh please

P.S. Oh, and it's always nice to match a name with a face, I think. So here is a more recent (and rather bad) picture of myself, with my new orange hair and lack of hat and glasses.
