Introducing the Brevis Revision 2

Technically, the rev1 adapters (there aren't actually that many) can be upgraded to the removable GG system. However, there are enough changes to make the sell, buy new path more cost effective. Optically, the rev1 and rev2 adaptes are identical with the current diffuser option.
 
I have been very interested in this adaptor over the past few weeks. Like as soon as the funds come in I am getting one" interested.

The only deal breaker would be this: How far down can you stop the SLR lens before you get very noticeable grain? The M2 can go down to f16 I have scene and it still looks acceptable. Sometimes you don't need all that DOF.
 
I've shot a few detail tests at f16...although I can't recommend shooting at that due to aperture diffraction issues. Most 35mm lenses will show at least some (but not necessarily significant) image degradation at F16. Having said that, with sufficient light, the current diffuser option will handle f16 just fine. This test to evaluate image vibration was shot with the very first prototype at f16.
