into AE question

I need to "motion stabilize" some footage. Will do it in AE. As usual, this is question:
To re-import into PP2, i obviously have to render in AE as for the stabilization to be effective.
How much quality will be gone from original footage if rendered .avi?

I would render out an uncompressed avi. Any quality lost will be undetectable. You will start running into quality issues if you save using the DV codec.

My workflow would be to open original footage in AE, render out uncompressed, then re-import into Premiere.
