What do you think for a single person interview?

How much are you willing to spend? I would suggest arri. You should get a 1k with softbox a 650 and a 150. Pick up jell kits and stands. Also picking up a variety of silks nets scrims and reflectors would really help you. Black flags can be very usefull as well.

Yes, that's a common setup for many. A 300w might do just as well for background but the 650w gives you the extra power when you might need it. Of course, selecting the 3200K bulb for the CL-SFT1 allows blending in with the fresnels with no problem.
