Interview Attire

I have an informal interview at a Post Production house where generally the dress is pretty casual (jeans, untucked shirts, etc). I'm wondering what I should wear. I was thinking khakis and a tucked in button-up collar shirt. I don't want to come across as a stiff though. Any thoughts on what I should wear? Would nice jeans and a nice shirt cut it? Or should I play it safe and dress a little more conservatively?

Dress just slightly better than they do but not too much. Unless it's really edgy then wear just exactly what they wear. The balance is not looking like a slob, or that you don't care about the interview vs. not coming off to eager / needy.

So if they wear jeans I'd wear Khakis and a button down. Jeans sound like they would be OK too IF the over all ensemble is very polished AND it's a sort of edgy / creative place.

IMHO.

Informal interview with who for what? .. the higher up the more conservative don't chance it.

First impressions count big time .. even if you have to wait in the park for 30mins be early don't forget to turn your cell off. Best of luck.
Cheers.
