Internet Compression

[jhvid]

For those of you who've compressed things for the internet, which compressoin worked the best? I've heard mpeg-4, but has anyone used anything other than that.

Lots of flavors that are standards and work well: Sorenson 3, H.264, Real, Windows Media, etc. the usual suspects. I personally use H.264 or Mpeg4 compression.

i'd stay as far away from real as possible. everyone I know won't touch the damn thing.
