Internal battery: can it be replaced?

I recently purchased a used DVX100AP. It has about 50 hours on it. The only problem is that the DC cable that connects from the charger to the camera is missing. Is this an optional accessory or should it always come with the camera. I tried looking for it on ebay and other dealers on the net but only found the whole charger package to be sold. I'm not looking to spend that much and on parts I already have. I just need the DC cable. Does anyone know the partnumber for just this and where to get them? In the manual it says that with this you can recharge your internal battery. Now there is no problem with my internal battery.....yet. But I'm a little worried about when it is empty. How many hours does it work? Since I don't have the cable I'm thinking is it possible replacing it insted when the time comes. So can the internal battery be replaced? If so how?
Thanks!

It should always come with it. I don't know the part number but you could ask Spec-Comm. They would probably know the answer about replacing the internal battery too.

Interesting, I have never powered my camera with the AC adapter and I have had no problem with the internal battery. I've had my DVX100A for a year and a half.

I asked Spec-Comm and they said that it takes a very long time for the battery to be depleted and powering the camera without battery can be done with an ordinary tranformer with adaptor-socket. Coz there's a regular socket where the battery goes as well. So I don't think I need this cable. At least not for a couple of years.
