Intermediate codec in FCP

In premiere you can use CineForm 10 bit as an intermediate codec for compositing and FX/colour work, on the Avid you can do similar with the DNxHD 10 bit codec. Does Final Cut have something similar in a visually lossless codec for post work?

Thanks.

Apple can transcoded HDV to the AIC - Apple Intermediate Codec. The only thing is that I believe it is still 4:2:0. I am not sure about the color sampling though.

Apple can also create Uncompressed HD files, as well as DVCPRO HD which has a 4:2:2 Color Sample.
