Interlacing problems after importing P2 contents

Hey all,

So I shot this past weekend in 1080 24PA and when I ingest everything thru log and transfer Im getting some nasty interlacing artifacts.

Should I re-import thru different settings or is my G5 just not powerful enough?

Im using the 108024PA easy setup with advanced pulldown removal. So everything should be kosher, right?

Did you remove the pulldown? Or is it still running at 29.97. If it is running at 29.97, then it is still interlaced.

I had checked remove pulldown during the log and transfer screen. But when I click on the format info on a clip in my bin it stills says 29.97?

Should I just bring everything into cinematools and conform is to 24 frames?

Well I got this all figured out. It seems that there is a glitch in FCS2 and when you import with remove advanced pulldown checked final cut doesn't actually remove the frames. You need to import the clips and highlight them in your bins and then go to tools-remove advanced pulldown and then FCP will take care of it.
