Interlacing on Export files...Not in FCP Canvas

I shot in 1080/60i DVCPRO HD on my HPX170. editied with the HD 1080/60i easy set up settings. Edited, and loved what i had, exported a self-contained QT file, and i get interlacing while watching using QT player (haven't been able to test on any other playback source). Why is that? Ok, wait, i know its interlaced footage and that is why, but... In FCP i cant see it and it looks great, but once exported, everytime something or someone moves you can see the interelacing real bad. it always seems to happen to me. I tried exporting using compressor and used all sorts of different settings, still nothing. If i am going to output to web, how should i export my FCP 1080/60i sequence? From now on im just shooting 720/60P, just as good and i shouldn't have to EVER worry about interlacing right?

Thanks,

FCP doesn't show you interlacing...it shows one field. QT shows BOTH fields...and computer monitors cannot display interlacing well at all. If you need a file for computer playback, you need to deinterlace the entire project. And if you shoot for the web in the future, shoot progressive. If you lay back to tape, the interlaced lines you see in the QT file won't be visible.
720p60 is progressive, no interlacing

Shane- Just out of curiosity, when would it be best to shoot interlaced footage? seems everytime i have problems its because of interlaced footage and everyone tells me to shoot progressive. why shoot interlaced?
