Interlaced mixed with P

Hi guys.

Right now i am working on a music video. And need som quick help.


I have this situation: I have the same shot in i and P. I have used the same timeline and the same sequence settings. The sequence is set to progresiv scan. What happens when i use the interlaced shots on this timeline? Do i need to deinterlace this footage or will it automaticly deinterlace it?
