Interlaced in Timeline

I'm sure this question has been addressed somewhere but my searches were fruitless. When I import video from the DVX from the F5 setting, the footage looks progressive when I play it through the camera and when I play the clip alone in the viewer. As soon as I put it on the time line it becomes interlaced. I import in standard 29 fps and the timeline is set to 29 fps, I've tried capturing with the pulldown, but I don't think F5 is true 24p, so it still becomes interlaced, I've run it in the timeline as 24fps and it is also still interlaced. It seems like there should be a way to match the image that I get in the viewer on the timeline though. Any suggestions?

I've changed all my camera scenes... I believe F5 was 24p and F6 was 24pA, right?

Both are put to tape at 29.97 frames per second.

So -- when capturing 24p material you should have 3 progressive and 2 interlaced for every 5 frames. That's it. Leave it there. No need to capture with pulldown removed (won't work anyway).

24pA setting is also captured 29.97 to tape and if you bring it in without removing the pulldown it will be 4 progressive and one interlaced per 5 frames.

Is this what you are seeing?

Make sure your canvas and viewer are set to 100% to see ALL the lines of resolution.

That is what I'm seeing, and I guess it should be expected. But why can I not maintain the seemless image that is present in the viewer (which appears when I double click the clip in the browser)?

Well, I wasn't lying before, but I played it again after changing back from 200% and it seems to be interlaced as expected. Sorry for the trouble, though I'm still not sure what happened.
